The Gaia Shower Filter Refill Cartridge requires replacement every 3-6 months.
When you order The Gaia Shower Filter, it comes with a filter inside which lasts up to 6 months. This is the refill for when you're due a replacement.
For single-user use, the refill should be replaced every 6 months.
When multiple people use the shower filter, we recommend to replace the cartridge every 3 months.

The efficiency of your filter decreases with time, so it's important to replace it every 3-6 months to keep it working at it's best.

How long does each filter last?
Each filter lasts 13,500 litres of water.
This means if one person is using the shower then it will last for 6 months.
If more than one person uses the shower we recommend changing the filter every 3-4 months.
What are the ingredients?
The ingredients inside of Gaia are NSF certified and FDA approved.
They are:
Stainless steel mesh
Microfiber porous membrane
Activated carbon
Calcium sulfite
Kdf 55
Anion, ceramic and tourmaline stones
Second microfiber porous membrane
Will it fit my shower?
Gaia fits all showers.
It can attach to the shower unit or the shower head.

How can I install my filter?
Installation is easy and takes less than two minutes. Here's how to install:
- Remove the white plugs from the Shower Filter.
- Remove the shower cord from the tap.
- Connect the Shower Filter onto tap.
- Re-attach cord to bottom of the filter.
- Run the water for 30 seconds.

Yes! When you need to order your refill filter, you will see an option to subscribe.
Not only will you get your refills for cheaper, but we send them out to you automatically when your filter is due a change.
